IDA opens a short-term US funding channel with Discount Notes, but records stop short of showing new project finance
World Bank records show IDA launched a Discount Notes Program on 14 October 2026 and completed first placements through US money-market infrastructure. The same records do not show issuance size, pricing, country allocations or any measured effect on lending.
